Eugene Seah experienced a career crisis in 2013 when he was laid off, and for nearly a year could not find a job. His savings dwindled and he struggled to provide for a large family — a homemaker wife, three children and two elderly parents. To make ends meet, he asked the government for food coupons for his kids and borrowed money from his elder brother.
In 2015 he made a decision to shift his mindset from fragile to Antifragile, and everything else started to change. He changed his habits, his skillset, his network, the way he communicated, the way he spent his time and the way he responded to every challenge.
As a result his speaking and coaching business grew, and he was invited to cities around the world to share his story and teach his Antifragile framework, appearing on TV, radio and in newspapers multiple times. Before losing his job, Eugene was a Vice President at several financial multinationals, managing regional teams and living in both Singapore and Hong Kong, the two main financial centres of Asia.
In his workshops and keynotes he combines that corporate experience with extensive coaching expertise to create an engaging and highly relevant experience — and clients consistently note his sense of humour and authenticity.
